About Dr. Bluntzer
Dr. Bluntzer, a graduate of Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, is a board-certified Internal Medicine doctor who has been in private practice for 35 years. In addition, Dr. Bluntzer is certified in Addiction Medicine and is the part-time doctor for Lifepointe Hospice. Dr. Bluntzer consulted for the Dallas Center For Survivors of Torture and continues to be a forensic examiner for Human Rights Initiative in Dallas. Dr. Bluntzer received the Special Commendation Award from the Texas Association of Marriage and Family Therapy and the Angel of Freedom award from HRI. Dr. Bluntzer is certified in herbal medicine by Anamed Tanzania. Her literary essays appeared in The New England Journal of Medicine and the Journal of American Medical Association.
